“My grandfather, Richard John Williams, was born in 1900 this area and I believe my great grandfather, Richard James Williams, worked on the tunnel and/or worked in the pump house. He was born in Swansea in 1849. I am visiting the United Kingdom this spring and will be coming to Sudbrook/Chepstow to see the area. The address I have from an old family Bible: 4 Post Office Rd., Sudbrook, Chepstow, Very fun to discover this web site. Donna McAtee Oregon, USA”
