1904 Railway Postcard This is a postcard picture that shows a view of Sudbrook. The railway shown in the centre of the picture was built to take items to the pumping station. The line through Sudbrook runs almost directly over the tunnel. It was originally built to serve the works. After the tunnel opened it brought coal to the pumping station. On the right of this picture is Marshall’s Stores which published a range of postcards for Sudbrook and Portskewett. |
